How to use the Priessnitz Throat Herbal wrap (Priessnitz Throat wrap)?

1. Remove the inner removable part (lining) of the wrap strip and soak in the herbal bath. Use a good quality essential oil in an appropriate amount so that the scent is pleasant. If necessary, consult a good aromatherapist about the choice and amount of essential oil..
2. Put the wrung-out inner part of the wrap back into the wrap strip.
3. Wrap the strap around your neck and fasten with Velcro. The wrap should fit snugly.

How to use Priessnitz slippers (“onion slippers”)?

1. Finely chop 1 or 2 onions for 1 foot and heat briefly in the oven or on the radiator.
2. Use cotton socks. Pour the prepared onions into them.
3. Pull the socks over the feet, “spreading” the onion over the whole foot.

Strep throat is a common condition in children, but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen to adults too. It is an inflammation of the tonsils and can be caused by both bacteria and viruses. The most common cause is bacterial, mainly streptococcus and staphylococcus.
